Johannesburg (South Africa) – Not only are EFC AFRICA’s opulent new title belts being hand-crafted and imported from the USA, a new range of EFC AFRICA championship rings is being created especially for the champions by Orpheo Twins.
For EFC AFRICA’s most momentous fight night yet, three titles will be awarded; lightweight, welterweight and middleweight. Each title holder will receive a $5000 belt that is meticulously crafted over a number of weeks by the same manufacturer that produces UFC, WWE and a host of other world-renowned championship belts.
As if title belts weren’t enough, Orpheo Twins exclusive jeweller has stepped in to offer each EFC AFRICA champion their very own exquisite hand-crafted EFC AFRICA Championship Ring. Current lightweight champion Wentzel Nel and heavyweight champion Norman Wessels will be the first to receive their rings, valued at R30 000, which they will keep regardless of whether their belts are successfully defended in future. Orpheo work is uniquely distinctive, blending Latino-African passion with Swiss precision to create some of the world’s most sought-after jewellery. EFC AFRICA is honoured to accept Orpheo’s generous offer on behalf of its fighters, and is certain that such remarkable title belts and championship rings are prizes worth fighting for.
EFC AFRICA 08 takes place at the Carnival City Big Top Arena on 14 April. Tickets are on sale now at Computicket. More information available at efcafrica.com
