Johannesburg (South Africa) – In order to bring EFC AFRICA fans all the MMA action they can handle, EFC AFRICA events will begin at 6pm from EFC AFRICA 10 onwards. According to EFC AFRICA president Cairo Howarth, the change in times will allow fans to see more MMA action before they have to hit the pillow for work the next day.

“Due to the high level of athletes competing at EFC AFRICA, along with expertly matched bouts, EFC AFRICA events have steadily grown in duration,” said Howarth. “EFC AFRICA has therefore decided to start events earlier, in order to continue giving our athletes and fans the same number of top quality fights, while allowing everyone to get home at a reasonable hour.”
EFC AFRICA events will still feature an average of 13 fights. From EFC AFRICA 10 onwards, doors will open at 5pm, the undercard will commence at 6pm, and main card fights will begin at 7.30pm. All future EFC AFRICA events should therefore end by 11.30pm.
EFC AFRICA 10 takes place at the Carnival City Big Top Arena on 1 September. Tickets for the live event are on sale now at Computicket www.computicket.com and tickets for the live broadcast to Nu Metro Cinemas will be on sale shortly at
