EFC AFRICA 10 – Just 7 Days to go!

Johannesburg (South Africa) – Only seven days left to get tickets to EFC AFRICA 10, where 26 of the continent’s most spectacular mixed martial artists will do battle. In addition to two title fights and many experienced crowd favourites, a number of talented new arrivals are fighting fit and eager to establish themselves in the world’s most exciting combat sport.

Carnival City’s Big Top Arena provides a superbowl experience straight out of Vegas, with unparalleled view, sound, lighting and atmosphere. After visiting Carnival City for EFC AFRICA 08, the Big Top Arena was voted best venue by fans!

For the evening’s main event, Dallas Jakobi will challenge current EFC AFRICA welterweight champion Adam ‘The Prodigy’ Speechly for his title. Jakobi recently made the cut from middleweight to welterweight, with a string of explosive victories behind him, but Speechly has already proven that he is the continent’s number 1 ranked welterweight for a very good reason. The second title fight of the evening will produce EFC AFRICA’s very first featherweight champion. Top contenders ‘King’ Leo Gloss and Demarte ‘The Wolf’ Pena will battle it out in EFC AFRICA’s lightest weight class.

Doors open at 5pm, the undercard commences at 6pm, and main card fights begin at 7.30pm.

Fans outside Johannesburg can still catch the MMA extravaganza live at the following Nu Metro cinemas: Pavilion, Canal Walk, Menlyn Park, V&A Waterfront, Grand West, Galleria, Hatfield, Riverside, Loch Logan, North Park Mall, Klerksdorp, Walmer Park, Boardwalk and Worcester. Nu Metro will begin broadcasting the live feed at 7.30pm.
