Voted best venue by fans, Carnival City is home to two hotels, a feast of dining options, fun-filled family entertainment and world class gaming facilities. The Big Top Arena also gives fans a true Vegas superbowl experience, with unparalleled view, sound, lighting and atmosphere. For the evening’s main event, Dallas Jakobi will challenge current EFC AFRICA welterweight champion Adam ‘The Prodigy’ Speechly for his title. Jakobi recently made the cut from middleweight to welterweight, with a string of explosive victories behind him, but Speechly has already proven that he is the continent’s number 1 ranked welterweight for a very good reason. The second title fight of the evening will produce EFC AFRICA’s very first featherweight champion. Top contenders ‘King’ Leo Gloss and Demarte ‘The Wolf’ Pena will battle it out in EFC AFRICA’s lightest weight class.

Other highlights include welterweight bouts pitting Nolan ‘Real Deal’ Swanepoel against Leon ‘Iron Lion’ Mynhardt, and Martin ‘The Punisher’ van Staden against Dino ‘The Lion’ Bagattin. All four are in SA’s top 5 welterweight rankings and are eager to move towards the title. EFC AFRICA 10 also marks the return of fan favourites Jacques Joubert and Paul Terblanche at middleweight, while a host of new fighters such as Wesley Hawkey, Michiel Opperman, Daniel Sinclair, Abdul Hassan, Thumelo Maputa, Ryan de Vasconcellos, Keith Theologo and Francois Groenewald begin their EFC AFRICA careers.

Please note, from EFC AFRICA 10, all live events will begin earlier. Doors open at 5pm, the undercard commences at 6pm, and main card fights begin at 7.30pm. All EFC AFRICA events should therefore end by 11.30pm at the latest.
