Warriors from South Africa, Egypt, Nigeria and DRC will battle it in the EFC AFRICA hexagon in a world class production broadcast live to Nu Metro cinemas countrywide and thousands of viewers around the world thanks to online streaming and recently secured broadcast deals with international television networks.
The evening’s massive main event fights see Andrew van Zyl challenge defending champion Ruan Potts for the heavyweight title, while Alex Cheboub takes on defending champion Costa Ioannou for the lightweight title. Then Nolan Swanepoel and Martin van Staden collide to shake up SA’s welterweight rankings and middleweight strikers Jacques Joubert and Tyron Rightford trade leather. The event features 13 bouts in total, showcasing top international fighters such as Amr Wahman and Yehia Deghidy (Egypt), Victor Anyaogu (Nigeria), Tez Makuebo (DRC).
The Nu Metro cinema experience starts as the live event starts at 5pm.
