EFC AFRICA Opens Up New Lightest Division

Johannesburg (South Africa) – With the growing popularity of Africa’s biggest promotion and the increase in strong lighter-weight athletes, EFC AFRICA has opened up the 57kg – 61kg bantamweight division.

“Africa has got some of the best talent in the world, from the heavyweights right down to the lighter divisions, and we are excited about the new division where we will see the top bantamweights make their mark on the world stage,” said EFC AFRICA president Cairo Howarth. “We have been inundated with applications and have been scouting bantamweight talent from across the continent. Now is the perfect time to open the division.”

Bantamweight bouts are renowned worldwide for their speed and non-stop action. Expect to see exciting new stars emerge, plus a few of the featherweights making the cut, all fighting to stake their claim as number one in EFC AFRICA’s lightest division.
