Johannesburg (South Africa) – Sean ‘Monster’ Robinson and Chris ‘Danger’ Du Pont go head to head in a light heavyweight bout at EFC AFRICA 25, to be held at Cape Town’s GrandWest Arena, November 7.
Both men are coming off of impressive victories.
Robinson has two straight W’s behind him with a recent first round GnP demolition of British athlete Rob Loyd in Cambodia, and before that the scalp of Paul ‘Terror’ Terblanche, taken by TKO in the second round at EFC AFRICA 19.
After suffering a record seven second KO loss to Tumelo Maphutha at his EFC AFRICA debut, Du Pont has surged back to form with a first round verbal submission victory over SA champion wrestler Charl Hurter at EFC AFRICA 20.
“It’s an awesome opportunity to fight in Cape Town,” said Robinson of his coming clash. “Chris is an excellent athlete. We nearly got to fight each other at amateur level but it didn’t work out. I can’t wait to face him in the Hexagon.”
