Durban, South Africa – EFC Durban is around the corner with a massive scheduled fight card. EFC President Cairo Howarth is looking forward to three bouts in particular on the preliminary card that he feels hold a ‘Knockout of the Night’ potential.
His first predication for a KO finish comes from bout one, Bill Thusi and Martin de Beer. “Both these guys are Durban locals with very strong kickboxing backgrounds,” stated Howarth. “From what I’ve heard, I am pretty sure that they are not going to take it to the ground, but will rather keep it standing and look for the KO.”
For his second prediction he is calling the ‘Knockout of the Night’ coming from either Peter Nyide or Nelson Feiteira. “Every time either one of these guys enters the Hexagon we witness an unforgettable performance. Some of craziest knockouts and finishes I can remember, win or lose come from either of them. Both of them go to war to finish every fight. Last time we saw Nyide matched up with someone like this he broke both his hands.”
His final predications for potential KO of the night comes from the ladies. “It might be their EFC debuts, but both these ladies like to throw leather with mean intentions,” exclaimed Howarth. “I won’t be surprised if this leads us to a highlight reel KO.”
Will any of these be right? Get to Durban ICC on Saturday to see for yourself.
