Johannesburg (South Africa) – 17 March is St. Patrick’s Day. It is a highly celebrated day by the Irish people, both in Ireland and its diaspora. Traditionally celebrated with public parades and festivals, the wearing of green attire or shamrocks, this is not the case for some. Specifically, Irishman Peter ‘Showstopper’ Queally is hard at work in the gym in preparation for his number one contender bout against Martin ‘The Punisher’ van Staden.
The South African, van Staden, decided today would be perfect to send his Irish opponent Queally a message ahead of their EFC 38 bout in Durban. “Peter, you are going to need all the luck of the Irish at fight night. But it still won’t be enough.”
