Johannesburg, South Africa– EFC bantamweight Irshaad ‘White Tiger’ Sayed is sure to be the next in line to fight for title after Cedric ‘The Dominator’ Doyle takes on the current champion Demarte Pena. Sayed has been out of action in order to observe the Muslim month of Ramadan, but is keeping a close eye on the action surrounding next Saturday night’s fight.
Shortly after watching the EFC 41 Countdown show, Sayed sent a statement to EFC HQ saying, “I hope Pena wins for two reasons. 1) To shut Doyle up because his mouth doesn’t match his skill level and 2) so that I can be the first person to hand Pena a loss.”
Only time will tell if Sayed’s wish will come true or if Doyle will score one of the biggest upsets in EFC history.
