Durban, South Africa – “‘DANGER!! Beware of the mad dog!!!…’ I am laughing out loud after reading this message my opponent made to me. If she was expecting that I could be afraid then she is wrong all the way. I believe that she might not be that confident with herself to make that kind of message insulting French fighters…” said Pare in a statement on social media today in response to her opponent Amanda ‘Mad Dog’ Lino’s recent Facebook post.
The French fighter, who is landing in Durban on Monday ahead of her main card bout at EFC 43 continued, “I just want to express that I am working hard, I stay focused, determined and I remain respectful in the sport. France is a nation full of true warriors.” Pare concluded the statement with her own warning to her opponent Lino, “DANGER!! Beware of fighters coming from France!!!”
Considering that the only French fighter that EFC fans have seen competing in the Hexagon just put away the former heavyweight champion Ruan Potts and is now scheduled to fight for EFC gold against Andrew van Zyl later in the year, the recent warning from the femme fatale is clearly justified.
This women’s bout will serve as the penultimate fight at the EFC Durban event and is heating up to be a war between the pride of their respective countries, and has all the makings of an epic encounter and a potential ‘Fight of the Night’ worthy of the history books. EFC 43 is headlined by the inaugural flyweight championship fight between Nkazimulo ‘Zuluboy’ Zulu and Durban’s Craig ‘Nemo’ Ninow.
