Cape Town, South Africa – EFC will be hosting the official EFC 48 media day outside the Market Hall, GrandWest this Saturday. Open to all members of the press for exclusive interviews and free for all fans to meet their favourite athletes ahead of next week’s EFC event in GrandWest. EFC 48 sees a mega event headlined by former champion Brendon Groenewald taking on one of the most experienced athletes on the EFC roster, Danie ‘The Pitbull’ van Heerden for the vacant EFC heavyweight championship. And, number one contender Irshaad ‘White Tiger’ Sayed takes-on former title contender Cedric ‘The Dominator’ Doyle for the interim EFC bantamweight championship. Plus, Cape Town favourite Don ‘Magic Man’ Madge returns to the Hexagon to face Durban’s dangerous Tyson Chelin. Also, featuring the controversial South Africa’s Mark Hulme vs. undefeated DRC’s Kaleka ‘Block’ Kabanda and action fighter Sibusiso ‘The Monster’ Mdoko vs. wrestling champion Hanru ‘The Bully’ Botha in the opening main card bout. All this and so much more on the exciting prelim card.
