EFC CAPE TOWN FIGHT CARD UPDATES

De Lange out, Coxen in to face Tresor

Cape Town, South Africa – EFC Cape Town is just around the corner with a card jam packed with mega fights and the light heavyweight title on the line. It is sure to be one of the biggest events of the year. In the lead up to the event, Cape Town’s Shaun de Lange has withdrawn from his main card scheduled bout against DRC’s Pupanga Tresor due to a family emergency. Stepping in on late notice, Johannesburg’s Pietie ‘Thunder’ Coxen will face Tresor on the prelim bout.

With the bout change, a shifting of fight order will now take place that sees Cape Town’s boisterous action fighter Sibusiso ‘The Monster’ Mdoko versus Durban’s Saxon ‘One Minute Monster’ Delafield moving to the first fight on the main card.

Coxen steps in fresh off a decision victory over DRC’s Robo Ambamba and wants to keep his winning momentum going against another DRC native in Tresor. This bout will now headline the prelim card.

These fights take place ahead of the headlining fight, the ultimate grudge match between South Africa’s Don Madge and Brazil’s Jadyson Costa.

EFC 52: Madge vs. Costa, Dalcha vs Maphutha, presented by SUPABETS, and takes place on Friday 05 August 2016 at GrandWest, Cape Town. Tickets are on sale soon at www.computicket.com, and the 5 main card bouts will be broadcast live on www.kwesesports.com starting at 20:00 (CAT) and delayed live on e.tv after the 20:30 (CAT) movie.
