Cape Town, South Africa – An open workout and Q&A session was scheduled to take place with the lightweight champion, USA’s Dave ‘Pain Train’ Mazany yesterday. It was to be broadcast live on the EFC Facebook account which Mazany was given open access to. However, things changed last minute.
Mazany lives in Las Vegas and trains out of Xtreme Couture gym and this is where EFC management expected and advertised that the broadcast would take place from. Instead the ‘Pain Train’ started broadcasting from a professional wresting studio and went into full professional wresting mode in what is one of the quirkiest videos that has ever been published on the EFC platform.
USA’s Mazany is set to make a title defence against number one contender and former lightweight champion, South Africa’s Don Madge on 8 April. Mazany vs Madge will feature as the main event of EFC 58 at GrandWest, Cape Town.
Madge hosted his own Q&A session from his gym, Fight Fit Militia in Sunninghill, Johannesburg last week, where he fielded questions and comments from the public and showed off his impressive striking and movement. You can watch it here: https://www.facebook.com/EFCworldwide/videos/1459357837439534/
