Johannesburg, South Africa – Two new female athletes have signed with EFC. Fighting at a catchweight of 63kg, Nigerian Bunmi ‘The Bone Bender’ Ojewole will face Morocco’s Rizlen ‘The Lioness of the Atlas’ Zouak at EFC 62, August 19 at Carnival City.
Ojewole has a Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu background. A practicing medical doctor, she lives and trains in Durban at the Lion’s Den, home of fellow EFC athlete Sizwe Mnikathi.
Ojewole is an amateur champion with almost all of her wins coming by way of submission. Highly athletic and cerebral in her approach it is competition where she is happiest, always wearing a bright smile in the heart of battle.
Rizlen Zouak is a formidable opponent. She holds a Judo Blackbelt and has represented Morroco in the Olympics, making her no stranger to the bright lights and demanding production of a world stage.
Holding a professional record of 1-0 Zouak fights out of the famed MMA Factory in Paris, France, and comes hunting for an early finish.
This fight takes place on the prelim card just ahead of the five-fight main card, featuring three title fights.
