Cape Town, South Africa – A score must be settled when two top EFC welterweights clash. Originally scheduled to collide last year, Luke Michael (4-3) withdrew from his fight against Conrad Seabi (6-5) with injuries and Seabi went on to face the dangerous Brazilian Jose da Rocha. Now, the fight that has been called for, is officially back on. This time on Michael’s home ground, live from GrandWest, Cape Town on Saturday 13 April.
Michael is in the middle of a career resurgence. After moving from Cape Town to Johannesburg to train under Coach Quan, he is riding a two-fight winning streak with two first-round finishes.
An exceptional grappler, all his fights have been won with an early finish. He has never heard the final bell. A feat he will continue to strive for as he chases his shot at EFC gold.
His opponent however doesn’t have the same sentiment.

“Last time Luke pulled out like a b****,” Seabi reminded EFC staff writers via text. “This time there is no where to run and I will take his head off in front of his hometown!”
The man from Mamelodi, Pretoria is a terrifying opponent to face. Never a step backwards, he is relentless with his boxing and pressure. He sees the man standing opposite him in the Hexagon as an enemy at the gates. An enemy that must be knocked-out, with no questions asked.
Based out of Brothers in Arms, Seabi is Pretoria to the core and will carry his hometown into battle in a city of which he is undefeated in.

Two men with a score to settle, are set to clash, just ahead of the main event between reigning champ JP Buys and interim champ Luthando Biko at the top of a twelve-bout fight card.
EFC 78 Buys vs Biko takes place on Saturday 13 April live from GrandWest, Cape Town. Tickets are on sale soon at computicket.com, and the 5 main card bouts will be broadcast live on DAZN (USA & Italy), TV 2 – Sports 1 (Norway), FIGHT SPORTS (Where available) & EFCworldwide.tv (Where available) starting at 20:30 (CAT).
