Fighter's Biography

  • Background disciplines?

    MMA

When & why did you start martial arts training?

I started training at the age of 13. A karate dojo located near my house made me fall in love with combat.

    Transition to MMA?

I started Karate in 2011, Karate was semi-contact and I believe I was meant for more than just following one regime of fighting.

How did you get your fight name?

Mamu-Mama. When I started at our gym I would forget everyone’s name and call them ‘MAMS’. It just stuck with me since then.

    What is your favourite technique?

Spinning back-kick, because it is full of power.

  • Who is your hero?

My mum, she has given and sacrificed a lot to make me the man I am today.

What other interesting information can you tell us about yourself

I have a degree in sport science, currently a pharmaceutical rep. I am a vegetarian due to religious beliefs and I love my family and pitbull.

What does it mean for you to fight in the EFC?

Everything! I have been working hard for so long by the grace of the Lord, I am blessed and grateful to finally be here. Literally has been a dream of mine for the last four years.
