Fighter's Biography

  • Background disciplines?

    Muay Thai

When & why did you start martial arts training?

As a child, I loved fighting and like most fighters that were bullies as young kids, I was the bully during school and university days. However, I did get myself into a lot of trouble, so I needed to do something positive with my desire to fight before I end up in a prison cell. So I was introduced to the art of Muay Thai, from my first session I fell in love. That was the first step of my fighting career.

What ranks & titles have you held?

South Africa Super Heavyweight Muay Thai Boran 2012

    Favoured technique?

I am a stand up fighter with a Muay Thai background, so I love my kicks and clinch work, but don't let that fool you, I have won all my amateur MMA fights on the ground.

  • What other interesting information can you tell us about yourself?

I am a very chilled individual. I love watching reality shows, series and movies. I am not a person for crowds, although I love being in the Hexagon and amongst all my fans. In my private life I like keeping it quiet and simple. I spend most of my time training, if not then doing some graphic work or creating websites and also watching a lot of fights. I also cycle almost every morning, and try my best to remain active through different sports and I love cooking, yes I am a chef in the kitchen too. A jack of many trades

What does it mean to you to fight in EFC?

Everyone says their dream was/is to be part of the EFC, to fight compete in the EFC. Well for me it is a dream come true. I always knew that I was good enough to be signed by the EFC, I am here not be a part of anything but I am here to take over, to be the most dominant champion the organisation has seen, to bring skills, techniques, and brutality that cannot be understood. Every fight should shock the MMA world, fighting for EFC is an opportunity for me to make a legacy that my kids will be proud of, to be the best in Africa and the world. I am 'GOD OF WAR' and no one shall defy me!
