Fighters Biography

Background disciplines?

Muay Thai

Fight preparation?

I train almost every day and work on whatever game plan is current. My preparation is exactly the way I’m planning to fight on fight night.

When & why did you start martial arts training?

I saw a UFC clip once and that made me hungry for MMA. I started Muay Thai, went to a record of 12-0 and became the SA champ. I then beat a world champion, Driekus Skutte, which made me decide that I wanted to get into the Hexagon. From the day I started MMA my goal was to become an EFC fighter.

What ranks & titles have you held?

South African Muay Thai Champion

Favoured technique?

Armbar

Tell us about your most memorable fight?

I fought for the Fight Stars title and lost to a reversed armbar.

What other interesting information can you tell us about yourself?

I’m the up-and-coming EFC champ! My daily job also gives me a kick. I’m one of the top 10 car sales people in South Africa and am aiming to be promoted to management. I love sports, will watch any sport on TV and used to be a Falcons rugby player. I love hanging out with my friends and having a jol. I’m a religious person and know that through God I have received everything I have today. I’m grateful for it.
