Fighters Biography
When & why did you start martial arts training?
Started Kung Fu when I was 15, I liked Bruce Lee movies and Wu-tang clan.
How did you transition to MMA?
Wiekus Swart was in the area, started to just go to him on-and off and eventually committed fully.
How did you get your fight name?
From an anime called Beserk – he’s as strong as a hundred men. Seen as a demon but actually an angelic character. I resonated with him
What is your favourite technique?
Right cross – it hits hard.
Who is your hero?
Anderson Silva – he has a fluid fighting style and is an upstanding person outside of the cage. He is almost like a Bruce-Lee figure where no way is the way.
What other interesting info can you tell us about yourself?
I’m a stuntman. I also do graffiti and parkour.
What does it mean for you to fight in the EFC?
It’s a large achievement seeing as I’ve watched it for a long time. When I started with Wiekus it was one of my goals to join the EFC.
