Fighters Biography

When & why did you start martial arts training?
Started fight training three years ago as I was looking for a replacement to rugby tried a variety of activity but Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu filled the void and that evolved into MMA for me and I just love competing win or Loss, it’s a lifestyle sport so you can train till you die. Also David Levey, my Jits coach and friend looks like someone out of a Marvel Comic book and he’s been doing it a while was. I always hoped to look like that.

What ranks & titles have you held?
I only base achievements on what’s current as a persons’ as good as his or her latest efforts so in 2012 I have taken a bronze medal in Carlson Gracie African Cup Silver in Gracie Submission Pro Double Gold Abu Dhabi Africa World Pro Trials Silver at Abu Dhabi Pro World Championships 2012
and hoping to add a few more medals before year end with Cape Town International Open on the 8th of December and Abu Dhabi trials in February. I rank myself king of the pop charts even though I’m a crap singer even my girlfriend tells me so. Oh, and former EFC heavyweight champion.

Favoured technique?
No favourite technique I try be semi proficient in all spheres. But I do love superman so wearing my underpants on the outside and flying could be a favourite thing to dream.

What other interesting information can you tell us about yourself?
I am a tree hugger who puts animals needs before mine and anyone else’s I don’t keep trophies as proof of success and give my prizes and trophies to kids for motivation. I don’t measure success by the objects people have but rather the value they add to society and their willingness to be selfless when the time comes. My dog Max is my best friend hence the unfinished tattoo on my arm with his name.
