Exhibition Fight History
When & why did you start martial arts training?
Moved to a new school and had some confrontations. One of them ended up becoming my brother still to this day. He had already done K1 for five years and we started Jiu Jitsu together.
How did you transition to MMA?
After competing in Jiu Jitsu and kickboxing events for many years after high school, I wanted more and after being introduced to MMA, I wanted to bring it all together and continue my martial arts journey.
What ranks & titles have you held?
Many NMA/ISKA gold medlals for Jiu Jitsu and amateur kickboxing.
My favourite technique changes every time I finish an opponent with it. Part of my martial arts journey and goal is to graduate each technique by successfully implementing it in a real fight situation.
Who is your hero and why?
Myself. No one is harder on myself than I. I always strive to stay true to who I am, you cannot love others, until you can learn to love yourself.
What other interesting information can you tell us about yourself?
I work as a stunt performer for film. I love practicing many forms of expression from movement to art of writing to acting, dancing and music. I have lived and trained with Shaun de Lange on and off for many years.
What does it mean for you to fight in the EFC?
Dreams come true as well as something that keeps my mind/body/soul grounded by being able to enjoy and fully immerse myself in my passion.
