Exhibition Fight History
What do you do for fight preparation?
Fight camp is normally over an 8 week period. Training in the morning from 9-11am is grappling, wrestling or MMA. Training in the afternoon from 2-4pm is Muay Thai, boxing and sparring.
How did you get your fight name?
From a promoter in Thailand.
When and why did you start martial arts training?
I started training kickboxing when I was 14 years old.
How did you transition to MMA?
MMA is growing rapidly and it was only natural for me to transtiton to MMA sooner or later. At first I just gave MMA a try with minimal grappling experince but since I staretd training at Evolve MMA in Singapore I have become a well rounded fighter.
What ranks and titles have you held?
RUFF MMA Champion, WPMF Muay Thai World Champion, WMC Kickboxing World Champion, 2x WMC Asia Muay Thai Champion, South African Nation Kickboxing Champion.
Tell us about your most memorable fight.
My most memorable fight was a three round war vs Adiyeng Jumayi. I managed to win by split decision in a very tough fight that I’ll never forget.
What is your favourite technique?
I don’t have one favourite technique, but I really like my left hook to the body.
Who are your heroes?
My mom and dad.
What other interesting information can you tell us about yourself?
I played provincial cricket when I was in high school but realised how boring it was after I had my first fight.
