Fighters Biography

Fight Preperation?

I train six hours a day.

When and why did you start training martial arts?

my dad took me to do Karate first, but I left it because I didn’t like it. I started Japanese Jiu Jitsu when I was 12 years old, until I got my black belt.

How did you transition to MMA?

When I arrived in South Africa I did Kickboxing (also in Congo), and started to fight K1. Slowly my coaches introduced me to MMA.

What achievements, ranks and titles have you held?

World amateur champion in 2014, fought in Las Vegas, Fightstar Heavy Weight champion. Ranked number 1 heavy weight in SA and the state of Nevada, USA. Ranked 3rd in the USA (amateur). Undefeated in 7 amateur fights, all finishes. 7-0-0

How did you get your fight name?

My K1 coach give me that name, the Fireboy.

What is your favourite technique, and why?

Stand up!

Who is your hero, and why?

Andy Souwer

What other interesting information can you tell us about yourself?

I love MMA. One-day people are going to talk about the Fireboy all over the world.
