Fighters Biography
Fight preparation?
Every day except Sunday. Wrestling, conditioning, stand-up dynamics, Jiu-Jitsu, pads and more Jiu-Jitsu!
When and why did you start MMA?
I saw my brother Martin get into the cage and decided to try it. I’d been getting in fights my whole life, but once I started learning self-defence in a structured environment I found it easier to deal with people in day to day life. MMA calmed me down a lot and helped me limit fighting to the cage.
What ranks and titles have you held?
My amateur MMA record was 3 wins, 2 losses and 1 draw. As a professional I fought for the Fight Force welterweight title against Ronald Dlamini. Unfortunately at that stage I was not taking my training seriously and I was unable to get the title. I learnt a tough lesson the hard way and it motivated me to come back stronger.
