Moyo Marches On

Strauss to tackle ‘the Bomber’, August 07

15 July 2014

EFC AFRICA – Extreme Fighting Championship – Moyo Marches On
Elvis ‘The Bomber’ Moyo after his defeat of Sors Grobbelaar, EFC 28

Johannesburg (South Africa) - Last week Elvis ‘The Bomber’ Moyo was banned from boxing in South Africa due to competing as an MMA athlete. This week he marches on, going up against the heavy hitting veteran Wilhelm ‘Tiny’ Strauss at EFC 32, August 07.

Moyo has impressed all with his potent champion’s boxing, but has been undone by the ground games of the far more experienced Andrew van Zyl and Brendon Groenewald. Against Strauss none would predict a ground war. Both men are stand-up specialists, and love the too and fro of punching it out.

Strauss is a tough competitor with a go-forward attitude at all times. A fight of the night winner against Lance Ceronio, and owner of the scalp of current number one contender Christophe Walravens by KO, ‘Tiny’ will be bringing the battle to Moyo, despite the ‘Bomber’s’ already lengendary punching power.
