CAMEROONIAN HEAVYWEIGHT YAMDJIE STEPS IN LAST MINUTE

Durban, South Africa - Just in: DRC’s Mphata Mikixi has broken his rib in training and has withdrawn from his heavyweight fight with South Africa’s Thabani Mndebela. One giant of a man answered the late notice fight without hesitation, Cameroon’s Nico Yamdjie.

The massive Yamdjie was last seen in action against the man he is replacing, Mikixi. He won via Rear-Naked Choke. A surprise ending and finish from the man known for his boxing skills and heavy hands.

This heavyweight fight takes place just ahead of the five-fight main card sold out event, headlined by the historic women’s title fight between Durban’s Amanda Lino and Pretoria’s Jacqualine Trosee.
