Johannesburg (South Africa) – Former middleweight title contender JP ‘Tinkerbell’ Kruger makes his Hexagon return against the notoriously unpredictable Liam Cleland at Carnival City, August 07.
Kruger brings a well-established striking pedigree and a string of submission victories to this bout. Undone by champion Garreth ‘Soldierboy’ McLellan at his last outing, he will be gunning for a return to the finisher’s form that made him famous.

Cleland is a very difficult proposition. A hugely successful IT specialist in his private life, and a certified genius and MENSA member, he brings his unique mind to the Hexagon. He is known for an unconventional ability on the ground, gritty mindset, and unpredictable nature.
On paper Kruger has the standing advantage and Cleland the ascendancy on the ground. In practice, Kruger has taken the bulk of his victories by submission while Cleland is a wild card who specializes in unexpected tactics.
On August 07 at the Carnival City Grand Arena, the only certainty is uncertainty when these two giants of the Hexagon finally meet.
