Francois Groenewald doing bag work

Johannesburg (South Africa) – Late last week, world-renowned photographer Anton Geyser visited the BJJ specialist, and number one contender Francois ‘Franaconda’ Groenewald whilst in training for his imminent clash with Demarte ‘The Wolf’ Pena.

Francois spent the day training with teammate JP Kruger and doing some light hearted pose offs with some of the smaller guys visiting the gym at XKT in Boksburg.

This title challenge, taking place at Carnival City, is the second time that a fighter training out of XKT is challenging another from Fight Fit Militia for EFC gold. Earlier this year, Francois’s training partner JP Kruger was unsuccessful in his title challenge against Garreth McLellan at the Coca-Cola Dome.
