The first lightweight champion, Wentzel Nel gives his thoughts on EFC 37 main event.

Johannesburg (South Africa) – In what is set to be another trail blazing year for the organization, EFC kicked off 2015 with an electrifying night of action. In what will be remembered as one of the most hyped cards of in recent memory, a sold out Carnival City bore witness to history.

– Every fan and analyst has their thoughts and predictions on how tonights main event will play out. One man who might be able to give a clearer picture of Mynhardt vs. Madge III is the first EFC lightweight champion Wentzel ‘The Animal’ Nel.

“I am a huge Leon Mynhardt fan and a huge Don Madge fan. Both bring very different attributes to the Hexagon. If Madge can bring more violence to Leon, I see him taking it. But we know all know Leon is tough as nails and I don’t see him cracking under the hammers of Madge. My gut feeling says Madge will take it tonight, but in my heart Leon will take it. I am very split between the two. I think there will be a lot of blood tonight and someone will get hurt. I think it will go to the judges.”
