Cape Town, South Africa – As well as training non-stop for his upcoming title fight in Cape Town, the light heavyweight challenger, Champion Dalcha, has had a few tasks at hand. Last weekend he spent the day celebrating ‘Mandela Day’.

In the lead up to the bout, he was asked by EFC what he has been up to and what his thoughts are on his opponent, and he had this to say.

“I kicked the habit for Mandela Day. What did you do?”

‘Kick the habit’ is a social initiative, which Dalcha, as a team member of Dragon Power, is involved with training disadvantaged youths and spent last Saturday teaching kids some valuable MMA skills for his ‘67 minutes’.

He may have a soft side, but make no mistake the man from the DRC will be all guns blazing when he steps into the Hexagon opposite Norrman Wessels on Saturday 8 August at GrandWest.
