EFC women’s divisions continue to grow with new talents

Johannesburg, South Africa – Two new faces have signed and bolstered the EFC women’s divisions. USA’s Cheyanne Vlismas (1-1) will take-on undefeated standout, Karolina Wójcik, on the main card next Saturday 6 October at EFC 74. Taking place, live from Carnival City, Johannesburg.


Vlismas hails from Las Vegas, USA and fights out of Xtreme Couture. The same famous camp as reigning 2X lightweight champion, Dave Mazany. However, in preparation for her EFC debut, she moved her camp to Johannesburg, South Africa to train alongside the Coach Quan University team.


Mild mannered outside of the Hexagon, she is anything but, once the door closes. She is all out aggression as she hunts for the finish.


Originally scheduled to face Diana Felipe, the Portuguese athlete withdrew for personal family issues.


Without hesitation, the undefeated UK champ from Poland stepped in for the major opportunity. Wójcik is known as a finisher with relentless striking and fights out of REPS MMA in Preston, England. She joins a host of Polish and British talents that already fill the EFC roster.


This women’s flyweight fight takes place on the main card ahead of the EFC featherweight championship between DRC’s Igeu Kabesa and Scotland’s Calum Murrie.
