The SANDF benefits from EFC’s extensive TV reach during COVID-19 global health crisis

Johannesburg, South Africa – EFC, Africa’s leading mixed martial arts organisation, has partnered with the South African National Defence Force (the SANDF), to use EFC’s powerful TV platform during this global health crisis. This follows and the organisation’s temporary name change to EFC, EFFECTIVELY FIGHTING COVID-19 (see details: https://bit.ly/2LxTS02).

EFC has an extensive TV broadcast reach on over 25 of the most popular TV channels in Africa, with EFC content broadcasting daily to tens of millions of viewers across the continent.

Working with the SANDF, EFC has created a 60 second video that spreads a positive message about the SANDF, and encourages all Africans to work with the government, to follow the correct health and safety protocols, and unite and work together against the COVID-19 pandemic.

“EFC is pleased to be able to assist the SANDF, boosting their image and showcasing the important work that they are doing,” stated EFC President Cairo Howarth. “This SANDF video will be broadcast on EFC partner TV channels across the continent to tens of millions of Africans every week.”

Although EFC live events are temporarily on hold due to COVID-19 restrictions, EFC content continues to be produced and broadcast daily on TV networks around the world. Health and safety has long been a priority for EFC and have helped set the standard for the industry, especially in Africa. Live events will commence as soon as permitted to do so by the South African government and deemed safe to do so.
