The inaugural EFC Contender Series is set to take place on Thursday, 5 December 2024, at the prestigious WSB Arena in Johannesburg.

This new platform provides amateur fighters the unique opportunity to compete under the bright lights of the EFC stage, while emerging young talent will step into the spotlight with the chance to impress the EFC team and secure professional fight contracts. The Contender Series bridges the gap between aspiring fighters and the professional MMA ranks, creating a pipeline for fresh talent to thrive on the continent’s biggest stage.
