Fight Preparation?
I relax, clear my mind and listen to music. Focused on the fight.
When and why did you start training martial arts?
I started MMA aged 16, I was looking for a new challenge.
How did you transition to MMA?
Well, I started training Jiu Jitsu and Kickboxing at the same time, so I never really had to transition. It’s more a case of just putting all that I learn together and becoming a mixed martial artist.
How did you get your fight name?
The guys at the gym just kinda called me ‘The Kid’ and it stuck.
What is your favourite technique, and why?
Off the top of my mind, superman punch.
Who is your hero, and why?
The Diaz brothers.
What other interesting information can you tell us about yourself?
I’m a nature conservationist.
